The Chevrolet Volt is coming to Phoenix
It’s an electric vehicle that actually creates its own electricity, thereby extending its range to over 300 miles, with a clever drivetrain solves the problems of both efficiency and range. By combining the best parts of battery technology, which can be cleanly charged off the grid, and petrol engines, whose fuel can be easily topped up at any time, the Volt manages to provide both efficiency and convenience.

The Volt is not a hybrid, nor is it an electric car that relies 100% on battery life alone, the battery – along with the Voltec® system - and all components are guaranteed for 8 years, or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first). It offers the best of both worlds: freedom of driving electric with the reassurance of not being left stranded.
Ordinary electric vehicles which must be charged electrically can take many hours to reach full charge. The Volt circumvents this problem by using a small, highly efficient petrol engine to charge the battery during operation, if it is required. The petrol engine never directly powers the car however, allowing it to run an optimal speed to maximise efficiency. Likewise, the battery also regains charge from the regenerative braking system fitted to all Volts. This and the many other new technologies being introduced on the Volt are sure to make it a hit, especially with businesses, thanks to substantial tax breaks.
On the inside, the Volt exceeds expectations of space, comfort, convenience and equipment. A high-tech infotainment system accessed from the centre console is one of the highlights, but you’ll get a fuller picture when you call to enquire.
